Programme Structure and Content

The MSc Business Information Technology Systems is designed around four modules representing the balance of business understanding, knowledge of IT and personal practice.

Each of these classes will provide fresh perspectives and understanding of IT’s potential to address the issues faced by contemporary organisations.

Following completion of these modules, course members are given the opportunity to apply and integrate their knowledge in an in-depth project in which you can explore the managerial implications of IT. The MSc BITS comprises 180 credits. Each of the classes is now considered in more detail:

  • Module 1 - Business Principles and Organisational Processes
  • Module 2 - Managing the Business Process
  • Module 3 - Managing IT
  • Module 4 - The Dissertation Project
