An opportunity for recruiters to meet MBA and other postgraduate business studies students

The first Scottish MBA Careers Fair, held at the University of Strathclyde Business School in 2008, attracted over 250 students with at least 2 years work experience from 7 business schools in Scotland and the north of England, many of which are accredited and offer specialist degrees. Over 22 organisations attended, including Amazon, BSkyB, Black Rock Investments, IBM, Johnson and Johnson, PricewaterhouseCoopers, Procter and Gamble, RBS, Total Energy and many more international and local employers.

Why you should attend

A flexible, cost-effective approach to promoting your company

  • Each participating company will have a stand, with a table for literature and space for a banner. There should be ample room for informal discussion, and interview rooms can be booked for one to one discussions.
  • Company profiles, logos and job adverts will be posted on our website and online event programme.
  • Access many of the MBA student profiles online prior to the event and contact specific students.
  • Our well-attended and popular company presentation programme will again run throughout the day.
  • There is no charge for attending the event.

An opportunity to meet a diverse pool of highly talented and industry experienced individuals

  • Many of the schools are AMBA (Association of MBAs) and EQUIS (European Foundation for Management Development) accredited.
  • MBA students have, on average, around six years work experience in a wide range of sectors, functional areas and geographic locations.
  • Participating Schools offer both generalist and specialised MBA programmes and also a range of specialist MSc programmes covering a range of business areas, including finance and investment, marketing, human resource management and management science.
  • Only students with at least two years work experience will be invited to the fair.
