Entrepreneurial Activity

At the University of Strathclyde Business School - and the University of Strathclyde as a whole - there has long been a tradition of entrepreneurship. Many students have gone on to set up their own business, some doing the MBA to help them do just that while for others, what they learned from the MBA helped them decide to take control of their own destiny.

A selection of business ideas has been brought together here to show the scope of what our graduates have embarked upon most recently - from spring water and organic food production to a variety of dot.com ventures.

Quick Quote...

The course modules on managing people in organisations and strategy have been superb. The courses introduced a whole new set of concepts and tools for viewing and analysing situations and demanded we reflect on our personal experiences related to them. The lecturers showed interest in the students and great commitment to teaching and challenging us, and discussing issues with us.

Aidan McQuade,MBA 2001-2002
