Entrepreneurial Activity

At the University of Strathclyde Business School - and the University of Strathclyde as a whole - there has long been a tradition of entrepreneurship. Many students have gone on to set up their own business, some doing the MBA to help them do just that while for others, what they learned from the MBA helped them decide to take control of their own destiny.

A selection of business ideas has been brought together here to show the scope of what our graduates have embarked upon most recently - from spring water and organic food production to a variety of dot.com ventures.

Quick Quote...

The strategy section of the course was excellent, as was the managing people in organisations course. I was very lucky with my choice of electives - they were all very good. Managing for shareholder value was simply excellent.

Dave Pratt,MBA 2001-2002
