Entrepreneurial Activity
At the University of Strathclyde Business School - and the University of Strathclyde as a whole - there has long been a tradition of entrepreneurship. Many students have gone on to set up their own business, some doing the MBA to help them do just that while for others, what they learned from the MBA helped them decide to take control of their own destiny.
The University also has the Hunter Centre for Entrepreneurship, named after millionaire businessman Tom Hunter, where SBS students and students across the university can access help and information on starting up their own business.
A selection of business ideas has been brought together here to show the scope of what our graduates have embarked upon most recently - from spring water and organic food production to a variety of dot.com ventures.
