After completing successfully his first degree in Tourism Management in China, Hugo joined the programme of MSc in International Business, which is co-operated by the University of Stirling (UK), the University of Groningen (The Netherlands), and CERAM School of Management (Nice, France). This programme provided an opportunity for him to learn and to understand an increasingly interdependent yet diverse business world. Hugo is currently doing a PhD of Strategic Management at Graduate School of Business in Strathclyde University. He is trying to explore how institutional forces from home and host country interact with subsidiaries to shape their structures in UK and Chinese Multinationals in the internationalization processes and address the implications for both sides.
