The School of Continuing Education of the Hong Kong Baptist University is a self-financing unit which offers programmes to meet the demands and aspirations for education of people in employment. The School works towards the ideal of democratisation of education to provide adult learners with an open access to higher education.
The School offers various programmes. These include Diploma and Certificate programmes, correspondence course, and Bachelor and Masters degree programmes in collaboration with overseas universities. The highly respected degree of Masters of Business Administration is offered in collaboration with Britain's highly rated Graduate School Of Business These programmes are designed on various study modes with lecturing, tutoring, intensive seminar and group study.
The Strathclyde MBA in Hong Kong
The programme is offered part-time on a two-semester per year basis in Hong Kong. The programme commences in April and October. For each subject, a minimum of 24 contact hours in the form of face-to-face teaching, group discussions and seminars, plus a comprehensive package of specially prepared and effective open learning materials consisting of study guide, book of readings and assessments will be provided.
The programme has been jointly offering by University of Strathclyde and Hong Kong Baptist University in Hong Kong since 1989. Course participants could enjoy a variety of facilities such as the use of Resource Library and the University Main Library. They are also eligible to join the Sports Centre.
